Please bare in mind these images were taken with a digital camera only capable of producing a 500 KB Jpg picture.

The look out points at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon

When taking photos at an altitude at or over 6000 feet you should use a "UV" filter to take out the bluish cast that the Ultra produces.
As you can see I did not because they do not make on one for this inexpensive camera.

Mather Point

******************************

I don't believe I will walk down there, I'll just view the canyon from the rim walk way.

***************************************

****************************

There is a very nice walk way all along the rim.

**************************

While walking along the rim trail I ran across this.

I have blurred the person walking towards me because I did want to publish the photo without permission.

When he got to me I ask "what was going on" someone fell over the edge he said.

About that time all (HE'double tooth pics) broke loose, if you know what I mean.

Park Ranger vehicles by the dozens, emergency vehicles, rescue trucks of almost every description, and now Helicopters.

Every body was push back out of the way of the helicopter over head letting down a cable.
