AFTER THE RAINS

After the rain evaporates you don't have to drive through the water any longer.
However, I some times think the water is better.

Take a quick look at what it did to our smooth as pavement hard dirt/gravel roads.

This use to a a 60 mile an hour road.
And we consider this a very good road as compared to the other we had to drive on.

********************************

Actually the desert ruts/roads did not wash out as much as the county maintained roads did.

****************************

The rain sure made the desert turn green over night.

You sure wouldn't want to get a flat tire here.

If you look closely you can see that the road runs right through these cacti.
They are called jumping chola (choy-ya).
