IN NO WHERE DESERT ARIZONA

Up-date as of 08/04/03

**********************************

HOLY
WATER SHORTAGE

WITH THE TEMPERATURES RUNNING BETWEEN 115 AND **DROMEDARY OVER LOAD,
I AM STILL FETCHING WATER BY THE 50 GALLON TANK FULL TO NO WHERE DESERT ARIZONA.

** A one hump CAmel

*****************************

There has been some rain but not near enough. The desert is still not to green.

**************************************

This is what it looks like at
"NO WHERE DESERT ARIZONA".

*********************************************************

[squirrel talking] OK, you 2 big lumicses, move a side, no crowding at this here water please.

I suppose I will have to install a "Take a number machine if it gets any worse.

What you can't see is there is 6 more rabbits close in the area waiting their turn.

*************************************************************************

This is the other watering hole on the site some 10 to 15 feet away.
There seems to a Rabbit here all of the time at one or the other. I think these Rabbits are part Camel.

*************************************************

WOW! OH ME! WOW!

Hey Earl, what'cha put in that water anyway???

*******************************************************************

There is nothing wrong here I just caught the critter in an unusual stance or position.
But I just could not resist the caption as if it were drunk.

**************************************************************

All around the site now are these large holes in the ground. Today I found how they got there.

It's digging a hole. I wonder what for?

*******************************************

Look at that dirt and dust fly.
Would you call this taking a dust bath like the Quail do??

**************************************

OH:

That felt so good. I think I will do a little eye lid maintenance, OK?

*******************************************************

It sure is nice not not having to fight for a drink.
Those big old rabbits really take over this here water hole don't they?

**************************************************

I see the "WHITE WING GANG" is here.

Is there no end to the drinkers?

Typical Doves.
First they have to figure out why they are here,
next, what for,
next, how do we do this drinking anyway?

****************************************

I see the Gamble's chicks are on their own now and headed for the water tank.

******************************************

I removed a big log and this lizard came out to partake of the bugs under it.

I don't kow what kind of a Lizard it is but will try to find out and post it here.

**************************

My old friend the Curved-billed Thrasher is looking kind of ratty but still coming in for a drink and a few seeds.

*******************************

OH'yes my old friend mumps Murphy came in for a drink.
It has been hanging around for quite while now.
I can identify this rabbit by the large bulge on its neck or the side of its cheek.

I have placed an arrow pointing to the bulge.

********************************

It's very tame and come right over and almost sat on my shoe.
If I don't move it will stay by me for as long as 15 to 20 minutes.
