Arizona Wild Bird Photos
IN NO WHERE DESERT ARIZONA
August 12/03/2002 Sun up at 7AM sun down 5:30PM
WOW, if the days get any shorter I can't work fast enough to get any thing done.
At 5:30 AM it 45 degrees.
At 8:00 AM it was 60 degrees.
By noon it was 68 degrees.
That's why I live in Arizona.
************************************************
The Black-throated sparrows seemed to have multiplied there are, there seems to be about 100 visiting the site.
Maybe I am just seeing the same one a 100 times, that can't be, I always see 3 or 4 at a time, so, maybe I am seeing 4 of them 20 or 30 times. Anyway there sure is a lot of'em. Also the Phainopeplas are in the tops of all of the bushes and trees now.
I haven't been taking any photos because I am doing a bit of remodeling at the site this winter while the bird population is down.
I am moving the auto-matic watering & feeder to a new location just across from my blind. More large rocks, plants (cacti) dripping water, and places for them to perch in order for me to get better photos.
**************************************************
It's a beginning. I have relocated 3 cacti, hauled in many rocks.
You can see the water can in the back behind the larger cacti holding it up until it can re'root.
I can sure tell you one thing, those rocks ain't light.
I have moved them so many times now getting them to the site I know each personally.
The small round dish on the square stone is where the new auto-matic water station will be located.
I should have it pretty well done by January 03 if all goes well and if my back does not give out.
Can you see the third cacti I brought in?
More photos will be put on as I work.
