Arizona Wild Bird Photos

IN NO WHERE DESERT ARIZONA

01/12/2004

What's this!!
Two reports in two days.
AHHH yes, it either feast or famine in the bird photography world I guess.

On my way back from Western Arizona I decided to stop by "No Where" to take a look-see, you know, just in case a bird or 2 by be there pecking up the seed I had put out the last time I was there.

Scanning all of the shrubs for as far as I could see, I noticed some activity in some near by bushes.
Grabbing camera in one hand and my nice portable chair in the other off I set.
However, as you know, those sharp hearing birds flew the coop long before I could get there.
Not to be discourage I set the chair up as near to under a bush as I could, put out some sunflower seeds,
they love those sunflower seeds. As I was about to fall asleep with the nice warn sun shining down on me, (80*)
some sparrows flew in. This is a very good sign. Once you get a few birds pecking seeds more always
fly in to join in the eating. I figured all that I had seen earlier were those Sparrows
and nothing more, however I was wrong as usual.

Another new bird came to visit and partake on my nice sunflower seeds. GEE, 2 new birds, what a BLAST.

Who/what is that lurking under that bush any-way??

You might as well come and have some of these nice sunflower seed I have put out for you.
All I want to do is shoot you, with my camera that is and nothing more.

************************************

These images will have much shadows in them because I was not smart enough to bring along my flash unit.

*********************************

OH-OH I think it heard the shutter in the camera.
I was so excited I forgot to turn it to silent mode as I usually do.

**************************

As you can see I really put out the ole sunflower seeds.

I'll bet it is thinking it has found the mother-load of seeds & does not know which one to peck up first.

***************************

I think I have had it, it does not me this close taking all of these photographs.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN; WHAT IS IT??????
