This is a small bird not more than 5 to 5 1/2 inches. This was found at Patagonia Arizona State Park just behind the visitors center 02/02/06.
I would not know it was a Clay-colored sparrow but a "quote un quote" bird expert said it was in pointing it out to me. It could very well be one because one was reported in the area the time I was there.

I only saw it for a few seconds just long enough to be lucky enough to get one photo.
