Approximately 24 inches long. Note the blue & red streak behind the eye.
A ground bird for the most part. Seems to want to run rather fly, but it can fly and very well. Eats Lizards, eggs of other birds, baby birds, spiders, insects, & snakes including the Rattlesnake. This bird can run as fast as 15 miles per hour. Very territorial.
