Common Raven Continued
While spending a few days at the canyon in November, 01
I tried to get some photographs of the Ravens landing.
My few attempts were a disastrous failure.
It didn't take me long to figure out I would have to use several cameras.
********************************
I noticed they some times tried to land on the end of a very small twig.
Seems they didn't realize it was just to small, or was it?

Now you just know this isn't going to happen.
****************************
OK, so we'll try another branch.
***********************************
OK, landing gear down.
I'm almost there.
*************************************
Getting closer by the second.
**********************************
I do believe I am going to make it yet.
****************************************
OH boy, just about to land.
***************************************
Just another inch or two and I will have succeeded in landing on this small branch.
******************************
Almost but just not quite. That bird landing behind me sure is stirring up the wind.
***********************************
AAAAAAHHH, finally I made it.
*****************************************
The reason you see the bird from several different angles is
I had 3 cameras set up all taking images from different angles, and I used the ones I liked best.
*********************************
An experiment in how to get good feather images in an all black bird and still keep the back ground.
