DOES YOUR HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER LOOSE
ITS SUGAR WATER WHEN YOU LEAVE IT
HANGING OUT OVER NIGHT?

**************************

Over the past few years many folks have ask me this very question.
I will be the first to admit I had no answer for any one in the beginning.
In fact, I didn't even care about why it happened in the beginning.
However, when it did happen to me,
I became very interested in how this could happen.

****************************

While staying at the Santa Rita Lodge in Madera Canyon for a few days,
I made a most interesting discovery.
Not wanting to get get up before day break to do the Hummingbird feeders
I filled each one full before I turned in for the night.
Upon arising the next morning to start photographing the Hummingbirds,
and much to my surprise, all of the sugar water was gone.
I took each one down check it for leaks and or loose connections but found none.
Filling them all up again I proceeded with my photography.
All day in the back of my mind I kept wondering just how this could be.

**********************

That night I refilled all of the feeders, hung them out.
However this night I was going to sit out if it took all night
to see who-what was drinking my sugar water.
