RUBY THE ELEPHANT
Some years ago at the Phoenix, Arizona zoo there lived an Elephant named RUBY
You say so what? Well, it so happened that Ruby could paint.
not pictures of people or buildings or landscapes but I guess you call it abstract paints.
Let's have a look.

They would lead Ruby out into the large open pit area where the Elephants were generally fed and viewed by the public.
Next they would set an easel and white canvas.
She needed no coaching.

They would give her a paint brush and allow her to pick out the color she wanted.
As you can see she would some times swipe the paint brush on the side of her trunk.

When finished she back away from the canvas and they would put up another to see if she wanted to paint more.

The zoo would sell her painting in the gift shop at the zoo.
She's dead now and I don't know it the zoo made any prints to sell or not

She became a really Elephant artis selebrity and was known all over the world.
