Another first for this site.

HOLY, WHOPPER HOPPER!

Must do a quick lens change to get more photos of this?

Look at he Black tip ears and the Black stripe on the tail.

I do believe we are looking at a Black-tailed Jack Rabbit.

This rabbit is huge, it must be at least 2 feet long or more and
about 18 inches high to the top of its back when walking.

************************

Ever since I started this project I have always wondered
what was coming in and eating all of the bird seed that
I had put out just before leaving the site. Your about to see just who is.

***********************

While changing my lens it disappeared, like it turned invisible, but I did not see it leave.

****************************

Unless my water fount has all of the sudden sprouted ears,
I do believe I just may know where this critter is.

****************************

Come out - come out from
where ever you are.

Come on now, you can do better than that.

********************

Surely, your not afraid of a Lil' Ol'e squirrel, are you?

******************************

Now, ya see, that wasn't so hard to do.

It's sure is nice of you to drop by for a cool drink of my water.

Look at the rabbit and then note the water fount. The top before the dome starts is 2 feet high.
To the top where the handle is, is another 6 inches. You can see this ain't small rabbit.

**************************

If'n your gonna polk fun at me, I'm leaven.

***********************

Now you can see what the books says.
The Black stripe goes the length of the tail and onto the rump of the rabbit.

This rabbit is the size of a small dog.

************************************

I'm out-a here. I've had all of this picture taken I can handle for one day.

See ya.
