STANDING ROOM ONLY
AT TOM BEATTY'S

It truly was a Hummingbird Sunday.

The man standing against the tree, and his wife sitting in the foreground on this side of the tree were from Minnesota. At this time I do not know there names, however when they write to me I will add them. They had just come down from Tom's Special Hummingbird photo area, and said they had photographed the elusive Berylline Hummingbird.

Not shown here in the group of birders but were present, was Steve N. G. Howell
and Sophie Webb.
It truly was pleasure getting to meet them.

They wrote and illustrated the book,
"A GUIDE TO THE BIRDS OF Of MEXICO AND NORTHERN CENTRAL AMERICA"

Not only was there standing room only at the viewing area, but also at the Hummingbird feeders.
I didn't count then, but it seemed like there were 3 hummers for every hole in every feeder.
Maybe Tom needs to get one of those "Take a Number Machines"

From sun-up until sun-down they emptied feeder after feeder.
