Cow Tongue Prickly-pear
Can not find this in any of my books, so will just
go with the name plate under the cactus.

Here is a close up so you can see the pads better as to their iregula shapes.
If you observe the shape of the pads you can see they resemble the shape of a cow's tongue.

All through blooming and now has formed the seed pods or fruit.
Blooms in May/June and looks like this in August.
