Canyon Wren

As Wrens go note the extra long bill this Wren has.
Also note the breast and throat are white. For the most part you are going to see a 5 1/2 inch brown bird.

While walking along the main trail in front of the Rose garden at
Boyce Thompson Southwestern Arboretum I found this Canyon Wren carrying food to its nest.

Now, you have to be really quick if you are going to photograph a Canyon Wren.

It finally stoped long enough to get a shot.

It went inside this room through a small opening in the door parting,
flew up to a register in ceiling and I guess to a nest up in the pipes some where,
any way it came back with out the food it originally had in its bill.
