These images were taken at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon 09-2005.

This no doubt is a young Yellow Warbler. I had to get help in identifying it.

I took quite a few photos from all angles so I could ID the bird and I will show them all to you.

*****************************************

My first view of the bird.

**********************************************

Here I can see a little more of the belly's faint striping.

**************************************

It's the dark green on top that kept me guessing.

**************************************************

A good back view but not much help to me.

*******************************************

I keep coming back to the faint breast stripping.

***************************************************

I always figured a Yellow Warbler was always a bright yellow all over.

This must be a very young bird.
