Many miles away and in the desert I found another Verdin's nest in a species of Cholla cactus.
Well, there must be chicks in there or the
Verdin wouldn't be bringing a worm to the nest.

If the light was a bit better, we might be able to see the difference in these two birds.
I know these are two different birds, because one is in the nest, and this one is waiting to go in.
