The only cavity nesting sparrow in Arizona. Approximately 6 inches.
A ground foraging bird eating almost anything it finds,
like insects, grass seeds, scrap food, and comes to your bird feeders for seed.

Approximately 2 weeks later. I was not able to get back to the Canyon but a friend of mine,
Elena Miras did get a few nice images of the parent feeding the young.
