South of Phoenix on most any road you can find a Ravens nest if look long enough and hard enough. They can be in cactus like this one. You should be able to tell what time of year it is by the condition of the cactus in the photo.
You say you can't see the Raven in this photo?
Scroll down one photo.

Moving to the left of the first photo, and zooming in with a 1000 mm lens,
I got a much better shot of the birds in the nest. The next image will be duplicate of this one, however I wish to point out a little some thing to you.

*********************************

Please note to what the tip of the arrow is pointing at. In the Harris' Hawk photos that are on this site, I have shown the Harris' Hawks dropping branches into the nest, and have put out a question to one and all as to why this done. Now, I find that the Chihuahuan Raven does the very same thing. The very tip of the arrow in the above photo is pointing to a part of a branch that was just dropped into the nest by one of the parent birds as it flew over the nest site.

An experiment in how to get good feather images in an all black bird and still keep the back ground.
