The smallest of the Owls, it's only 6 inches tall.

Normally seen in cavities in Saguaros in Arizona.

Could this be a Northern Pygmy Owl??

The arrows are pointing to its brown/tan mustache.
I know I could be wrong,but this is the way I identified it.
Sorry about all of the green in the photo. I did get a bad batch of film that
seem to turn most everything a greenish cast.

I also might be getting a green reflection from the cactus.
Plus the sun was behind the Owl making it a back lit subject.
