FERRUGINOUS HAWK

Named for its color. ferruginous; the color of rust or rusty iron.

Approximately 23 to 24 inches. Wing span approximately 56 inches.
Eats mainly small animals as lizards and insects.

Some of the images may be a bit on the soft focus side because the
person holding the bird was on the move constantly and the bird was
constantly moving, and I was constantly moving/running in order to keep up with them.
OH well, there's a few good ones for you to look at anyway.
