I wanted to show the black ring on the bill, the yellow eye and the red around the eye.

Also in the following photos I want to show a few positions as they fly.

While at Havasu Lake photographing the Yellow-billed Loon a couple of Ring-billed Gulls few over.

I think the hardest thing to for them to do is take off from the water's surface.

It almost looks like it is using its wings like a parachute.

Same here. Maybe it's like a reversing action.

My fish was this big but it got away.

This is an immature Ring-billed Gull.

Com-on now, it's not that hard, just start flapping those wings.
