In the Demonstration Garden at Boyce Thompson Arboretum at Superior, Arizona.
I like to go there, sit in front that fountain eating a snack and cool drink, it's more than likely over 110* today.
The bubbling water from thefountain really attracts the birds.
D70s dig camera & an 80 to 400mm lens, SB-800 flash unit.
I'll tell'ya, it's impossible to beat these new digital cameras, virtually no grain, plus no film to buy.

It sure is most interesting how they will perch over that water and
look all around for several minutes before flying down to drink.

I don't know where these two came in from. I must have blinked once 2 often and they flew in.

Finally the one up in the tree flew down to drink.

Lesser Goldfinch
"Green-backed"
Nope, they are male Wilson's Warbler
as pointed out to me by a friend. I guess there's no harm in leaving them here, they're nice to look at anyway.
