"The Dripping Water Effect on Birds"

Next came the Verdins

The Verdins would flit from limb to limb but would never
go near the end of the hose where the water was coming out.

However they would fly to the ground and walk around in the wet leaves
and in the small puddle the dripping water was making.

They seemed to be fascinated by the water drops as they landed in the puddle
on the ground just under the dripping hose end. I never did see them take a drink of the water.

I have put an arrow in the photo pointing to a drop of water
the camera caught as the drop was falling to the ground.
