Remember when viewing these photos, our first concern was that we don't stress the birds.
We always use a blind. So times it's our vehicle.

We had already viewed the nest site from a much farther distance to determined the nest visiting cycles
so when we moved in a bit closer to photograph we would have some idea on how to evaluate weather or not we were stressing the birds.

At first the nest looked empty.

However: Upon a closer inspection, we found 4 chicks in the nest.
Estimated time spent at the nest less than one minute, no parent birds around.
