The Petrified Forest National Park Arizona revisited

It's also detrimental and hard on your back mussels.

Many who have tried to pick up one of these big rocks is still laying here and is now part of the Petrified Forest. :-)

The Park Ranger told me that they get hundreds of pieces of Petrified Wood
sent back to them every year because the takers say it brought them bad luck.

Well, while the storm is brewing let's take a look inside the visitor's center.

As you enter this Peruvian Amethyst will great you.
I would say it weighs approx. several hundred pounds & the cost is in the thousands of $.

On in side are tables ans shelves of cut and polished Petrified Wood of all sizes and shapes.

Prices vary from a few hundred to many thousands of $.
