"LYCORIS RADIATA"

'Alba' White flowers.

Narrow strap-shaped leaves appear in spring, ripen and die down before bloom starts. clusters of red, pink, or yellow low flowers on bare stems up to 24 inches tall in late summer, fall. Flowers are spidery looking, with long stamens and narrow wavy-edged segments curved backward. Blooms in late summer Aug.-Sept.

I have only seen these along stream banks or in marshy areas with medium to heavy shade.
