Driving the Highways & Byways
of Arizona with Earle Robinson as he searches for Arizona Wild Life

If you can remember by now, the map had many points on it.
Points meaning a place to stop your car and get out and view the area & or walk the trail if there is is one.
If there is one, it will be marked, so there won't be any guess work on your behalf.

What I will do here is, list all of the points that I have photos of, and you can click on them as you wish,
and it will take to a page with photos on it of that area.
In this way I won't have to put dozens of photos on this page making it very slow to load.

NOW, just in case you have for gotten, here is the map one more time.

Top half of the map.

Bottom half of the map.

Tawa Point | Tiponi Point | Kachina Point | Chinde Point | Pintado Point | Nizhoni Point | Whipple Point | Lacey Point | Puerco Pueblo | Newspaper Rock | The Tepees |

The above links are primarily to parts of the Painted Desert part of the Nat. Park.

The links below are views of the Petrified Logs/Trees.
The Blue Mesa being the first view of the Petrified Logs.

| Blue Mesa | Agate Bridge | The Jasper Forest | The Crystal Forest | The Giant Logs | The Long Logs Agate House |

I may only put one image of each up because there are so many places to look at. Best you plan a trip here to see for your self. It may only be a 28 mile drive but if you look at it all, it will take the whole day. There is food and drink at both ends of the park. There are phones through out the park at several points.YES; there are (I think) 2 or 3 rest rooms along the drive through the park.
